mark.honeychurch.org is Mark Honeychurch's blog, dedicated to all the irreverent, inane stuff that fills my life.
As background, I was bought up in the Isles of Scilly - a gorgeous place to live, just off the end of Land's End in England.
I left the islands at age sixteen to go to Welbeck military college, after which the Army was kind enough to pay for me to go attend Bristol University to study Mechanical Engineering.
After University, I travelled for a couple of years and then stopped in London , working in IT. After four years in London it was time to move on again, with the plan being to visit the Middle East, then stop and work in New Zealand and finally visit South America on the way home to England. This plan was dropped when we got to New Zealand, and Karen and I are now living in Porirua, outside of Wellington (it's not the house pointed to on the map, but the one to the left).
I currently work for Interactive, an Australian Company that has just started up in New Zealand. I have quite a bit of free time in my work, so I'm finally getting round to completing all those qualifications I should have done years ago!
